I have 2 battery's, one under my hood and the other in the trunk, an aq2200d amp, 1 300amp fuse, 2 power distribution blocks, 2 pioneer subs (dual 4 ohm), and a kicker wiring kit. I can wire the 2 subs to the amp but after that i have no idea what to do. how do i wire the rest up???

I believe if you run 1/0 ga from the front battery to the rear and then run your power wires from the back battery to the amp you should be set. Also the 300amp fuse would go from the 1/0 ga near the front battery. You follow?

1/0 is just for powering the amp... u will need to run the 1/0 + front to back and then ground the 2nd battery somewhere in the back and connect the +/- from ur amp to the back battery terminals... just get some 10 or 12g speaker wire for the subs...

heres the connection:

Have you run the power from the front battery to the back yet?

Disconnect your (negative -) from the front battery...cut a foot or so off of the power and connect one of the fuse holders between the pieces you cut. Leave the fuse out for now.

Run that wire to the back battery cutting it again and inserting the other fuse holder between the two pieces. make that cut look like the one you did up front. Kinetik's website suggests running negative from front battery to the rear, but I don't know. Depends on if you have the wire/money to do so.

Run a piece of power wire from the back battery to your fused distro. Run Power remote and ground wire to both amps from the distro, tighten everything up, replace the fuse up front, plug your (-) back onto the battery and make a thread for tuning help.

We have the same subs, same sub amp. RIght now I have an hc800, but I will get something bigger this weekend.

ok so i run the power wire from my front battery positive to rear battery positive with 2 fuses between them while both battery negatives are grounded. then run another wire from my rear battery positive through a distro. to my amp. then ground the amp. I can run the remote through my amp instead.

what do you mean about replace fuse up front? also i only have one fuse will i need another one?

I realized that I do not know your entire setup.

Are you running 1 or 2 amps? Also did you switch out your radio or are you still using stock?

Also 0 gauge on those subs is crazy overkill. You could be good with 14 or 12. 16 is good too.

ok first thanks for clearing up the sub wiring part. 2nd: im only running one amp to 2 subs. I have my battery under the hood and a second battery in my trunk. I have 1 300amp fuse and 2 distributor blocks. My amp is an aq2200d and my subs are pioneer TS-W3001D4's. i have an aftermarket head unit also, a sony CDX-GT81UW with 4 volt preamp outs (front, rear, and sub).
