2 amps vs. 1 amp

ok heres my problem:

should i get 1 kicker 1200.1 for 2 12L7s

or get 2 kicker 1200.1 one foe each sub?mind you that the l7s are only 750rms each

would one of these amps be able to pound these to their fullest for best performance as possible?

do u have to get kicker amps? the hifonics hercules or any other 1500 watt amp would be fine
