2 amps, help wiring

I know I need a distro block for the power wire, but, should I use 4 ga for both the speaker and sub amp? Or am I fine with 8ga power to speaker amp running to distro block and 4 ga from sub amp running to distro block, then from there the 4 ga will be leading to the battery.

I doubt that 0 gauge will fit under my strips on the floor of my door opening (if you know what I'm talking about)

I don't want to run it under the carpet, it's too much work for me.

You could do 2 runs of 4 gauge, it might be easier to route. Possibly even one run down each side if it makes it easier.
