I'm new to car audio and was wondering would I use 2 amp wiring kits for 2 amps or should I just buy a good one and split off it to power both amps.

I have one 300w Pioneer amp for my 6x9's and am going to add another amp for a sub and don't have wiring setup yet and I want to get it done right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

If you want it done right, run 2 wiring kits.
WTF! get a kit with a distribution block for the power wire. Go with a 4awg kit then split into 8 gage you will be fine. keep in mind the more powerfull the amp the bigger your gona want the wiring!

Alright well I kinda worked it out a touch now I just need to find a distribution block that will take a 4ga in from my battery and go out to 3x8ga wires then take the 3x8ga back down to just 2x8ga wires for my amps, yes it ghetto crap but might just do the trick I found one hell of a sale on sum crap tsunami kits for $8 cuz an audio shop is closing down. Just the RCA cables are worth that so even if it don't work I did not waste no cash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Does anyone know of a good distribution block that can take 1x4ga in and put 3x8ga out then one that can take 3x8ga and bring it down to 2x8ga

EDIT: called local shop and they have the 1x4ga in and 3x8ga out but said if I used more then one on the power line it could cause a FIRE?! they said to just use 2 of the amp kits but then I would loose 350w power... is there a solution?

If you are running two amps then just Get a fused distro block that takes a 4 gauge in and two 8 gauge out. if you already have one that take one 4 in and three 8's out then use just two of the three outputs. The fuses at the battery and in the distro block will prevent fires that is what they are for. YES you can use a single heavy gauge amp kit with four or two gauge primary power wire and a fused distro block with two or three smaller gauge outputs.

ye I considered maybe just running 4ga all the way thru cuz its cheaper then buying 2 amps for 2 subs... no matter what it seems using these 3 kits is just not going to work as planned but atlease I know what I need to finish this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
