Recently my amp stopped working so i started shopping around for a new one. while looking, i decided to also set-up some more subs. I already have a volfenhag 15' and want to add 3 12" for my mid/high bass. I decided to get a 2000 watt amp for my 15" and a 4000 watt amp for my 3 12". im not sure how to run 2 amps together and need some help on doing so. Also, my friend told me different sized subs dont sound good together. is it possible to set my 15 to pick up where my 12s fall off on the lower end? All feedback would help out alot. thanks.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

its some cheaper brands ive honestly never heard of, but im in college so i can only do so much. Im gonna get 3 Lanzar MAXP124D Max Pro Series 1600W 12s powered by a American Legacy LA2278 4000W 2 Ch. Bridgeable MOSFET Amp, and a Pyramid PB2600 2/1 Channel 2600W Bridgeable MOSFET Amp to run my Volfenhag 15. hope thats what you were looking for!

Soo there is no way to set the subsonic levels on the amp so that i can have the 15 start where the 12s end? im pretty good at ajusting all the shit just right so that it sounds like heaven. if i do that the 12s wont overpower the 15 b/c they wont be playing at the same time?

Man I hate to say it but you wasted a good bit of money on that equipment.

You cant run different size subs at the same time, and there is no reason to.

You can run a single subwoofer of any size and get the bass response from " low bass to high bass "

what you should do is buy:

a good subwoofer, check out http://www.ficaraudio.com and buy whatever u can afford

a good box, audio enhancers makes very nice prefab ported boxes,

a decent amp, kicker amps on ebay, buy one to match your sub ( wattage )

I didnt buy any of the shit yet. i was looking on here and like i said, im on a tight budget, i cant afford to pay $.50+ per watt right now. My 15 gets the low bass REAL good, but in the mids, its barely noticable, if anyone has any suggestions, im open. (i have about $300 to spend). my friend had 2 audiobahn alum12s and they sounded sweet, but it was in a pickup so he didnt have nearly as much air to move as i do. thats why i originally had two 15s and they were moving my windows. would just 3 12s be as loud?
