2 4 ohm subs and an 8 ohm sub on one amp

i have a few old subs just laying around and wanted to use them with one amp, but the problem is one of them is a svc 8 ohm that does about 400 rms and the other two are svc that do about 150 rms each, and i was wondering what kind of amp i need, a mono, 2 channel, or 4 channel. Which one would work the best and how should i wire it?

You need to figure out what you want to do for subs. I wouldn't suggest running those together.

If u run'em in (parallel) u should be around 2 ohm's

Don't listen to anyone who suggest to run them together.

You will be far better off running 2 or the 1 or selling all and getting something else.

ye i no its not that good of an idea, but im on a budget. Im trying to stay around $250 with the subs, amp, box, and wire, i already have the head unit and speakers.

Can start out with a pair of these since you are on a budget, and they do bang for the money

then just run the 2 4ohm subs and sell the 8ohm sub for profit, or vice versa

Great amp to push those subs/reliable,and resalable in the future when and if you decide you need more power,build your own box/get a cut out from a box builder on here, and find a Min. of a 4ga wiring kit possibly at Sonic electronix, for like $50,cut out,for sub box and materials possibly $60 total

If you want to run the subs you have, Id run the pair,and run that amp mentioned on them..Here is a wiring diagram that should help you in the future as well

yes im going to build my own box. but im thinking i might just use the 8 ohm sub because its louder than the other two, and buy a cheaper 4 ohm dvc sub and run that at 8 ohms, and then find a 2 channel amp and bridge it at 4 ohms.
