2 4 ohm dvc subs wired mono for a 2 ohm load?

I was just wondering if it was possible to get a 2 ohm mono load at the amp out of 2 dual 4 ohm subs? I also posted this in the amplifiers section by accident.

i doubt u can do it but i heard someone talking about putting in some resistors

and that would cut down on power the woofer sees drastically as well...

Yep, adding resistors will eat up any extra power you gain. Is the amp 2 channel or mono ? If it's two channel why not wire each sub to 2ohm on it's own channel. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
