2, 2" Round ports Noise or no?

My friend wants me to build him a box but wants 2, 2" ports that are 6 inches long. I was thinking that the amount of noise this would create would be pretty high. its a 2.33 cf box and its going to be tuned at 31 hertz. for a 12" sx

dont use 2 inch ports....use two 4 inch ports.

2 2" ports will increase the chances of port noise alot. I agree with ChevyAudio, 2 4" ports.

Four 2" ports is equal to roughly one 4" port.

Twice the diameter = four times the area.
