1993 subaru impreza hatchback... plenty of room for whatever.. i can fit a 23 cu ft box in that car !!!
and as for the tuning, i am wanting every day listening... no burps, im not exactly in the competition thing right now..

i say use both 18's and the 4000.1

id run both in a pretty decent size box not really sure exact cubes but id tune to around 30hz with some 6" aeros

but the amount of subs still has nothing to do with volts

see what happens when u start out to just be a di ck bro. I know the amount of subs dont really come in to play wait .... if he runs 2 2000 rms subs and sends 4000 rms to the pair ummm yea. what if he only runs one 2000 rms sub so a amp that does 2000 rms would that work right? so 2000 rms and 4000 rms bro is a big deal. at 4000 rms a ho alt might come in to play with batts. so back off

well no shit theres a difference between 2000 and 4000.....you need to be specific around here. And 2 subs on 2000 will generally be louder than 1 sub on 2000 simply due to the increased cone area.

my friend had his tuned to 34 hertz and they took it pretty nicely.. then again they did blow so maybe not.. haha...i may tune it a little higher just in case i get excited one weekend and decide to go to a comp or somthin. 36 hertz be alright?

I don't know for sure...i know the XXX's like it real low...i thought the MT's liked it high 30's low 40's as they were built for SPL
