2 18s, 3k rms. What Batts to get?

hey there i will be running 2 18s off of a ap30001d. What kind of batterys could i get away with? i have done the big 3 and my alt is the stock 80amp. Lights dimming dont really bother me i just want my amp to get the power it needs

Yea I asked the same question only for 6000 watts. If you got the money powermaster D3100's are what I want but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. Just don't know if more 3 or 4 batteries like the big C&D's would be better than 2 of the D3100's.

your lights dimming=your amps not getting the power the want which in turn equals buh bye amps

would a hc 1400 under the hood and 2 hc 800 in the trunk work? and would i need a isolator then?

i have no experience with kinetik batts though..

sorry im dumb as **** with electrical shit....what are some cheap batts that can help my situation. and a friend of mine used an interstate in his trunk....doesnt seem safe to me and with the little reading ive done its a big //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

Well since you only have a 80amp alternator you might wana upgrade that first

You can get 2 powermaster d1200's for only $11 dollars more than a d3100 and have more power. About the same size also

i hope you are good at replacing your alt and plan on doing it pretty frequently because that thing is going to be toast soon
