Which subs will be louder? What do you guys think? I have 2 Kicker Kx2500.1's that I will be using.
Thanks,
Thanks,
We do 4 R.E SX 18s in a 04 and that thing would hit some lows also it was tuned to 32 Hz we had it with subs forward ports to the back. This setup will be going into a 2004 Lincoln Navigator. So there will be plenty of space.
subs forward? pics? thats seems like it would look awsome! We do 4 R.E SX 18s in a 04 and that thing would hit some lows also it was tuned to 32 Hz we had it with subs forward ports to the back.
No ****!! I actually had 2 15" L7's connected to a RF T20001bd and it was loud but heard someone else that hit a little harder than my setup than I found out he had only 2 12" RE Sx Connected to a RF 1000bd. Then again I had a shitty prefab box. But believe or not I actually am going with the FI BTL 18"'s.subs forward? pics? thats seems like it would look awsome!
BTW OP i went from 4 15" Kicker L5's in 17 cubes tuned 37hz too 2 18" RE SX's and honestly GOT LOUDER!!!!! maybe it was an flaw in my install but these 2 18s murdered the 4 4L5's by far and by the way i have less power going to the 18's!!!
Go with 4 Ascendant Audio Havocs 4 Fi Qs or better yet 6 FI SSD 15s. All should kill the kickers in SQ and SPL ....but once again install dependant
Ive heard it mention that the BL's really get moving with about 1500wrms to one. Im sure a kx would do them fine...I just noticed that the FI BL 18" Come with Dual 2 options, So would 2 FI BL 18" D2 work for each Kicker kx2500 which is 2500 watts at 2ohms.
