2-15inch subs in a grand am box!

hey guys so my last box was a failed box for a few reason so i am looking to make something else! here is my design let me know what you guys think of it and or any other suggestion you can recommend (the one on the left)

in case anyone is wondering my max dimensions are 17x29x36

here is my old box design

this box failed for a few reasons like a shyt load of flex and a general lack of space in my car available.

so anyways let me know what you guys think of the new idea, any recommendations comments concerns etc... let me know and thanks for your help

the new design i don't know what it is... the subs are firing into the side of the car i added the angle so they could kind fire into the cabin of the car also...

like i say this is only a rough idea and i don't even know if it will work so any and all help is hot.

if this is a fourth order bandpass then so be it lol i hope it works out for me.

both designs are of the 4th order band pass nature. what are both boxes tuned to? and how much cubic ft for each one?

I suggest you have someone design you a box. If done properly a single 15" on 3kw will be louder than what you're trying to squeeze in there.

This, I had 4 type R 12's slammed in my trunk with no room after box lo.

Changed to 1 15 on 3k, hits nearly as hard but lower

current tuning is setup to 33-35hz pending on fine design

also each sub is getting about 3.2-3.5cubic of space.

with the max dimensions i get a 8.5 cubic box!

the port only takes up about 1 cubic. with the new design i get more cubics out of the box. with the last box each sub was only getting about 2.7cubic each~

and yes i know what you mean by a single sub could be louder my last setup was a single sub setup and i was getting about 144 on 2k with the other box i almsot got 147 (146.98db) db so i got a 3db gain with double the cone and on 5k

the first box (single 15inch) gave the sub about 3.2cubics

and yes i have looked into paying someone and no one wants to help and the last guy i paid gave me the my old double 15inch box (the one i am replacing)

and i am pretty sure i can't squeeze a 6th order bandpass in my trunk.

They all look like ported boxes to me, or am I seeing it wrong? His current box is just downfiring on the trunk bottom and port is firing forward(or rearward, whichever). His new ideas just have the subs firing to the sides...just a normal bass reflex box. The subs needs to be firing into a separate chamber to be considered a bandpass box(ie: the standard flea market bandpass boxes you see).
