2 15 w3's vs 2 15 rl-p 15 what do you think?

i never liked the W6 in a ported box. but thats just me.

Doubt it. Rl-p has more linear displacement.

OK U GUYS R NUTZ......THE 15W3 WILL WAX THE RL-P *** IN OUTPUT....IN SQ RL-P WILL BEAT THE LIVING HELL OUT OF A 15W3...i need 2 call jl and have them change there specs.....that 15w3 can take 1000watts easy...and the output is ridiculous ...depending on the box it can have decent sq..but the sq on the rl-p is good no matter what

15w3 loved my 500a2

15 Rl-p loves my kx 700.5

Rl-p wins hands down much more displacement

They were different enclosures.

500watts is nothing...i put 600to my 10w3 and it loves it......the 15w3 has a higher rms so your feeding it the jl say 2 feed.....if u put 800-1000watts u will have better results

Ive had 2 12w3's on a JBL 1200 and they didnt like that to much. Gain couldnt go much past 1/4, before bottoming the subs out. And that was 1.25/ chamber sealed.

um i didnt say put 2500watts 2 a w7 your talking crazy now.....i've actually put 1000watts to a 15w3 in a bandpass box tuned ...the sealed chamber was 1.5cubes and the ported chamber was 2.25cubes and that sub was sounding real good....it got metered on the tl mic and it did an easy 146db's with and 40-80hz test tone sweep

as far as with music it was in the low 140's and it sounded good but the rl-p will destroy the w3 in sq hands down
