2 15" L7's not loud enough

build a new box, brace it this time. And you said you had them rearfiring? And they are right on the hatch? I would say you are having some cancellation if I understood you right. I would fire the subs up and the port to the rear, try to keep 8-12 inches from port to hatch, unless using aero ports that are rounded at the end.

I dont get it how you guys have these dual 15 inch Kicker setups, and say they are not loud....I want to see your box plans, maybe your box wasnt tuned right, 33hz you should be tearin the lows up....

I've had L7's over 150db below 30hz in a few different installs..... I think its you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

i have an 01 blazer 2 door. Try building a new box crx style (subs up port back) thats always worked well for me. I was doing high 145's with 2 cvr 15's and a 1200 watt amp at 38hz. I can't imagine the L7's not getting loud. i'm running 4 L7 15's and there only getting like 800 watts each and they freakin slam man. Try a different box.
