i just got my stuff hooked up. i have 2 of the 2003 model L7 15's and a ma audio hardkore 1800 watt amp and a 1.2 farad power acoustik capacitor in a 6.2 cubic foot sealed box in a 2002 Honda Civic Si hatchback. yes i know it sucks to be sealed. i have them wired to go .5 ohms and the amp does 1800 watts RMS@.5 ohms. even though it is sealed this thing slams like nothing i have ever heard before. i am still running the factory cd player, yeah i know that sucks too. i usually kick the cd player up to 7 out of 10 dots on the cd player and it equals up to about 25 or 30 clicks on the knob. then i got the stuff hooked up and i can only kick it up to around 2 dots on a bass cd and 4 dots on regular music. because i don't really think that the glass can hold it plus in 3 or 4 hits the rearview mirror is slamming against the windshield also. the windshield is moving about 1/4" already and the amp isn't but about 3/4 the way up. i put a full roll of electrical tape on top of the car on a rag and turned it up and it made to roll do a flip before it landed. so i am kinda scared to turn it all the way up because my deductible is so much, don't wanna break nothing. well i will get some pics up as soon as possible. i want to get it metered so bad that i can't wait. i figure that if this doesn't hit at least 150 dbs then i am selling everything and quitting. because if my body can't hardly take it then my car sure as hell can't.

thanks

i probably won't quit but dammit i have sat in a truck that did 156 dbs and it feels like i am close. probably not though cause when you get so far it's kinda hard to feel that much of an increase. as far as breaking things, haha. i guarantee it will do something to my sunroof or the glass. it is moving about a quarter inch on not even half volume with not even full power off the amp. but i have seen people break 150 with single amp setups so i will keep my fingers crossed.

i will get pics up tomorrow probably and get it tested next weekend so i will let yall know if anything breaks.
