right now the gain is an 1/8 of the way up...he told me that if gains all the way down were 8o'clock and all the way up was 4 o'clock, im at 8:30.

think when we actually turn the gain up it'll be a big difference? right now the subs hardly move at all and it gets down.

gotta break em in first, and this box was somewhat built in trunk, so they have to rely on glue more and dont want me blowing it apart.

and already, i had a kid with 2 15" L7s in a TRUCK come to me and say im the first person he's met beating harder "first person ****in wit him"

and thats with the shit downnnn!!!!

also gotta get the bass knob put in, i 4got it at home.

and for being carpeted in trunk, its actually a good job IMO

its somewhat sealed off, they rolled the carpet around all of the gaps....

oh yea ive had the car since mid-june.

##'s wise...hmmm after break-in im shooting for....44-45 music.....little more on burps, 46....

its not a competiton car, just hard daily, although i'll still go to a few shows just for kicks

i think its feasible, but then again ya never know.

thanks thanks.

i can take vids, but i'll wait till after break-in and get the real power goin.

i like this a lot more b/c NO TRUNK RATTLE. the trunk flexes a little, but no rattle, raamat FTW.

although my skylight now makes noises.

and i feel bad for my rearview and sideview.

Please tell me, with that equipment, you have a better method for setting your gains then "somewhere between 8 o'clock and 4 o'clock".
im not the one setting it. that was just his way of telling me how low the gains are.

they use a DMM im pretty sure, or maybe by ear.

and i dont wanna mess with it, i'll let it go for the weekend then next week crank it up.

im willing to bet you dont have 8V preouts. so that gain setting seems pretty low. what HU you running?

even with my 8v preout HU the gain is up more than that...now you cant just use that as the end all, but like i said im willing to bet youve got quite a ways to go with the gain. and no dimming currently?

i dont think you or that guy that complimented your system know what your in for...

bring a pair of clean shorts with you for the first time you really turn it up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
