2 15" Alpine Type R Box / Amp help please

I have 2 two channel 15" Alpine Type Rs

They are the 2008 models

750 wrms each

I have purchased these about a year ago and have been putting the purchase of amps off. Which amp (s) would be best for this setup? Also, which box type? I am currently looking at 2 Alpine mrd-1000 amps, i have also heard of the idea of an alpine pdx 1000, what is your take on these ideas?

id go with 1 amp, you could pick up an AQ 2200 for 389 shipped brand new, but first do you know which VC your subs are dual 2 or dual 4?

dual 2 i am going to assume.. i am not very familiar with VC though but they are the swr 1522d models

I would do the aq amp in a heart beat.

I am about to put 2 12" type r's in my girls ride with an AQ2200, it will pleasure those subs like no other.

o wait those r the dual 2ohm subs then. I would do 2 aq 1200's or maybe look for a mmats amp that is .5 ohm stable, or maybe a kicker zx2500.

if you want it to sound decent 6 net with 85-95in^2 of port area tuned to 26-32. other than that its going to get low and sound good below 55hz but other than that poop....

What would you guys think about an Alpine pdx 1.1000? I was recommended this amp by a local car audio store.
