2 12Q's or 3 12q's

OK, Im about to attempt a blowthrough on my regular cab ranger......And, Some input would be slightly helpful....If I do end up getting 3 q's they will all be powered by 3 sundown 1500d's.....If i were 2 get 2 q's they will be powered by two of them....My goal is to hit 150.....And before tha flaming begins, i know everything is install dependant.

uhmmm...if u can afford 3 of them and the amps and got the room, why the hell not? even if its 3 sealed vs 2 ported...i'd still go for the 3...

I'd rather have 2 ported.

You're doing a blow through, so you should have enough available space for 3 ported... so.... why not? I don't get why this is even a thread.

I mean.... you could always use the cash elsewhere... but if you can afford it and there is infact enough room... I can't think of why you wouldn't.

Most people would go with even number of subs because of the wiring, but if ur gettin 1 amp per sub it wouldnt matter.

do 3...u have a design for 3....plus if u get dual 1 coils u can run the amps down 2 .5ohms and be able 2 get over 2k out of each amp going to each sub

now u have atleast 6kwatts and 3 12's that can get loud...u have an efficient box design with 150 square inches of port...i dont see y u cant pop a 150

being that your using q's now the design changed alittle...hit me up and i will fill u in on the details

nah i think im gonna go with 2........everyone has tried 2 convince me 2 just go with 2....even though i wont hit a 150(dammit, i guess i will just have 2 shut my friend who has 2 15 mt's up another way.lol)...but yea i guess the cash could be better used in beefing up my electrical

Haha my thoughts to....and the good thing is that i dont even have to move up any classes in USACI.....i can just stay in SB2
