2 12 rl-p be louder than 1 15 inch mtx 9500?

im trying to be louder than my last setup witch was 1 15 9500 with a 81000d. i now have an orion hcca 2100 that i need a single 15 or 2 12's to power up. the ss rl-p look like some good subs.

It is still install dependent...

It has the potential depending on the 9500's install...

I got to breifly listen to a 15" 9500 today in an MTX Sledgehammer enclosure an it got damn loud for being in the trunk of a GTP coupe.

I personally would go with the pair of 12" rl-p.

go for the rl-p's. trust me they get loud. i had mine tuned to 39 hz. daily and they still had decent sq, although i recommend lower tuning for daily.

I asked a couple of the more respected people on here the same question, comparing a set of RL-P 12"s to one 15" XXX.......Everyone said the RL-Ps would be louder, so that would get my vote.

Others have had good results with tuning them to 30hz.

i've had mine tuned to 39 hz. and 32 hz. and both had good results. the 32 hz. was better for daily but the 39 hz. gets you better db numbers on the mic and still maintains decent sq
