Every system I have had It has just consisted of 1 15" or 1 12", and I never seem to get the results I want, with my first system being a 1 12" MTX Blue Thunder, then being a 1 12" MTX THUNDER8000, and now a 1 15" L5 square kicker. I dont seem to be getting the loud, hard hitting, ground shaking bass I want. Would this be easier to achieve with 2 midgrade 12's??? or 1 badass 15 like an elemental SP15 or Audiobahn FLAME Q or other sub or such?

a single eD 15sp should be more than enough to lose your hearing in short order. if youre having problems with output, keep in mind that its 90% install...that doesnt mean that you didnt get the box sealed or whatever. the acoustics of the car you drive has a large effect on how you should install the equipment...assuming you have enough power, you should be able to move the sub around all different directions/positions till you find the one that works the best. also, making sure that your box is properly designed (NOT the recommended box, but the actual correct box) for your sub can put you light years ahead.
