2 12" RF subwoofers

I have 2 12" RF subwoofers in 2 seperate enclosed boxes in my 1995 S-10 ext cab truck, but one is a P3 and a P2, still both at 4 ohms, http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...p=(91809,91827), those are the specs on the subs. So maybe i need to rewire them or something and also my amp overheats sometimes or gets very hot, so im trying to find something to do?!

what's your gain setting at? how are the subs wired? is the amp a 2-ch or mono?

Tha gain goes from 0-1 and its at .3 and its a 2-ch amp andi have a P2 4ohm svc sub and a p3 4 ohm dvc sub, so i wired them as close as i could to the wiring configurations since one is a P3 and the other is a P2

i just connected the negative wires fron the P2 straight to the neg on the amp, but the other sub was done for me when i got it installed, so i dont exactlly know all that and not really sure what bridgd is, i just dont remember.

Why are you running two different subwoofers at the same time? Keep with one model/size/setup at once.

well i havent had time or at the time $ to get the 2nd P3 so i ran 2 different subs, but how should i wire them up to my amp?

just wire one to each channel. wire the P3 in parallel to 2 ohms, I guess, then wire it to one channel on the amp.

but overall, my vote goes to just using the single P3.

would i be better off unhooking the p2 and getting another p3, cuz i know the peak handling on the p3 is 1000w and the p2 is only 500w
