2 12" L7 Ported box buid

Regular elmer's wood glue is fine too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Don't worry about pulling screws and reassembling... i actually do that as a step in my build... i assemble the box without glue, using screws and predrilled holes, then i glue & screw. After the glue dries you can remove the screws... the glue makes them unnecessary //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

just glue would hold the box together strong? I thought a combination of screws and glue would do it better?it kind of sucks because i have to remove the liquid nails now. Should i use liquid nails to seal the seams? Any suggestions?

The screws don't make it any stronger at all.

The wood glue forms a bond that is stronger than the wood itself. The only reason I even use screws is so that I don't have to keep the box clamped for hours. That and I don't have enough clamps to do it.

wow, nice ill be finishing my box next weekend hopefully.

Also, does anyone know what is the correct drill size for drywall screws?

I think the one i was using might be too small?

Once I get the Box Glued what do i fill all the screw holes i have made?

Thanks for all the info.
