Hello,
I'm working on a new build that looks like this...
Electrical
- 250a dcpower alt
- big 3
- d3400 (under hood)
- xp3000 in trunk
- 2 runs of 0g to rear batt
- single runs to amps
Amps:
- (2 strapped) Sundown SCV-2000d
- Sundown SAX 150.4
Subs:
(2) 12" fi Q w/ cooling option only
I'm just wondering how much power will I be able to feed the Q's with this type of electrical and amps? In hoping that after losses the amps will only push about 3,500w rms at full tilt. So I figure if I set gains modestly, the Q's will only see just about 1,600w of clean consistent power. Does this sound about right? If not do you think it's a bad idea running these amps strapped to feed the Q's (which are now rated at 1500w rms)?
