i wouldn't do it. I've cut down some dd 2512s and the stock coil wouldn't be able to take that much heat. the 5 flimsy spiders would have some trouble

I know when my limit is by ear;all I just wanted to know was how much it could handle in reality in wattage. Thanks for the tip

2k for the pair daily will work, depending on ur tuning. if tuned really low i wouldn't do more than 1500 judging by the spiders. they are like paper thin and wouldn't like all that excursion.
