2 12" 06' Kicker CVX or 2 12" 06' Kicker L7

If not mistakin that is a knock off. It even says 4000watt max. Max dosnt mean nothing u need to look into the rms. Some other ppl can carry this on from hear.

Ok, well i did alot of researching lastnight about the kicker CVX and the Kicker L7 and i think that i have made up my mind about which sub i'm gonna get and i'm gonna get 2 06' 12" L7's and all i need to know is which amp i need to get to power these to their max or if i even should just power them to their RMS. I still don't know if i need a cap though, i understand what KPOZR2 is sayin about just getting 0 gauge wires instead of getting a cap but would that actually be better, cause ya i know it would save $$$ but i have up to $700 to spend on this system. The last thing i need to know is if i bought a bandpass box that was made for 2 round 12" subs could i put the L7's in their and yes i know that they are square but my friends are sayin that they would still fit and all i would have to worry about is the mounting depth or would i just be better off getting a sealed box with like a vent in the middle of the two subs?

I dont think you want a bandpass cause its very limiting to what sounds good on it. And yes I think you should get a ported/vented box which is what you are talking about with the "sealed box with a vent between the subs".

Ok, i'm gonna get a vented box for the two L7's and do i need a cap for these cause these subs are going in a 93' jeep grand cherokee and i don't want it draining my battery and dimmin my lights everytime they hit, lol. So now that i have a clue on the amp (still looking for more suggestions) then i just need to know if i should get a cap and get like 2 or 4 gauge wiring or no cap with 0 gauge wiring.

Stick with the l7's

Go ported but you can get decent quality out of a sealed box

get at least a 3 fared cap if you can

or get a high output ALT

or get a yellowtop battery

for a buget amp I woud go for HIFONICS

Do the big 3 upgrade first if you are still having problems with dimming lights and voltage drops then look into a HO Alt

just get some 0ga kit and a yellow top. do the big 3 and you should have no problems.
