2 12" 06' Kicker CVX or 2 12" 06' Kicker L7

I need to know which would be better out of the two subs cause i love kicker and these subs would be going into a 1993 jeep grand cherokee laredo and i need to know which box would be better a ported or sealed? Also i need to know what kind of amp would be best to run either of these subs!

CVX have been said to sound better sealed. L7's ported for max output they say. umm id run them to a kx1200.1 or kx2500.1 if you got the ca$h. the kx1200.1 is 1ohm stable so if you get 2 dual 4ohm woofers you can wire it down to 1ohm. thats what i did. or the 2500.1 i think is just 2ohm stable. w.e. u do they are both good subs, but ive only heard my L7's not the new CVX's.

Ive heard there the same thing but ive heard them both and the L7s got louder it was in an exact swap. Same amp same size box tuned to the same.4 the L7 Deff ported 2.5-3.0@32-28hz per sub. I would say run about 1200rms to each sub. And u would be deff set. I got 1 06 12" L7 with 1100rms and a 2.6@32hz and that shit wangs.

If i was gonna get an amp 4 2 12" 06 L7s i would get the orion2500d or something that is around that power. 4 ohm models so they can be wired down to 1 ohm

Ok, thx alot guys and i also forgot to ask if i need a cap. and what kind of gauge would you recommend cause all of my friends are saying 2 or 0 gauge if i'm gonna have that good of a system.

Depends on how much power ure running. Im running 1100rms and got 4 gauge. PPl recomend 2 gauge or 1/0 gauge incase for upgrades.

The only lanzar that does near rated power is the vibe series and the optidrive. I would stay away from lanzar unless i used the vibe or optidrive. If u where going to run 4000rms then u would need some major elictrical upgrades.

That is what the amp model is, it is a vibe and if i got the 2 12" CVX's and put them in a ported box then what kind of wiring would i need?

Do u have a link to this. Because if it aint the right 1 then it is a complete throw away of money. And trust me running 4000rms u will need electrical upgrades. And i dont think the 12" CVX or L7s could handle 2000rms each. If i was gonna get an amp that pushed out 4000rms i would get 2 15" L7s. With 2000rms the 15's ****in pound with that much power

If not mistakin that is a knock off. It even says 4000watt max. Max dosnt mean nothing u need to look into the rms. Some other ppl can carry this on from hear.
