2 10's ported or a larger sub sealed

So I'm looking to get a little "bump" with my audio setup. I currently have a jl 13w3 in a sealed box running off of a planet audio 250w rms amp. I drive a small extended cab toyota and don't have the room to port my 13w3 but I'm just not gettin that loud with the sealed box.

My question is, would selling the 13w3 and getting a pair of smaller subs(8's or 10's) and porting them(assuming they would fit, which I think they would) have more "bump" and get louder than a bigger sub in a sealed box?

Also, would getting an amp with more output make my sub a little louder?

I say two 10s ported, but I am a bit biased. When I first installed my pair of Dayton HO 10s, they IMO were easily louder than the 15" XXX (sealed btw) they replaced, running at the same impedance so virtually the same power. Now, after about 5-6 months of good listening they seem like they have gotten much louder than when I first installed them.

I don't listen to much rap, mainly heavy metal, but they are wonderful SQ drivers, and they have plenty of output as well. For the price of 120ish per driver, they are in my eyes the best budget driver on the market.

Are there any subs in particular yall reccomend? I was thinking maybe 2 DD 1510's or maybe some FI subs. What do yall think? I was even considering 4 8's although I'm not sure I'd have room for them in my extended cab truck.
