2 10s or 1 12 ported?

Im about to have Fiasher Customs build me another box. If you had 2-2.5 cubic feet and 1500wrms to work with, would you do 2 10's ported or 1 12 ported?

Would that be adequate airspace for 2 10s?

Help me out here.

I dont have the space for two 12's ported. I could possibly do 2 12s sealed.

So the option now is

1 12 ported, 2 10s ported, or 2 12s sealed.

1 nice 12 > 2 cheaper 10s. Costs less, gets just as loud, takes less space. it's a win-win.

Its looking like the mag will be a d2 only. So im looking at Fi SSDs.

Currently 1 12" Q ported 2cu@32hz in the car off a saz-1500d

How would 2 12" SSDs sealed or 2 10" SSDs ported 2 cubic ft@32hz compare off 1600wrms to the Q now?

If you're looking for output, I'd go with two 10"s ported over 1 12".... BUT i don't think you have enough space for 2 10"s ported.

So, 1 12" ported would be better for this situation.

I see, but your subs are dual 2's. I need dual 1's or 4's to use the power needed for them. I need to wire to 1 ohm.

Definatly two 10's

I went one from one 12" Alpine to two 10" Kenwoods,

100% better.

Its looking like i have 3 cubes if i went sealed with the box i have now (dimensions). I would run into fitment issues in the trunk if i went bigger. I would rather not chance it.

So it could be 2 10s sealed in 3 cubes, 2 10s in 2-2.5 cubes depending on design (i hope) or 2 12s sealed in 3 cubes max.
