If I run 2 of these on a 1100 amp rms. Would they be loud and if so would it be loud and distorted or nice sound quality.
And am I better off buying 3 instead of two.

kicker comp VRs are great subs. theyll get loud and sound pretty good. i would also say get 3 of em.. or a couple 12s.. but im confused on your amp ratings. is it a mono amp and 550 @ FOUR ohms and 1100 @ TWO (basically did you mix the stats up).. or is it a 2 channel amp and 500 rms per channel and then 1100 @ 4 ohms bridged? are those max stats or rms?

two compVR's should be fine with that amp. with 3 you wont get that much power to them with only about 500 watts.

ahhh ok.. those are MAX ratings.. yeah so on 250 wrms a piece those 10" VRs will be great. buy a pair of dual 4s.

or actually.. a single 15 VR (d2) would be louder if you can fit it.
