Hey I've been thinking, what would be louder? A single 400rms sub(sensitivity-86db) or two 300rms subs(sensitivity-94db)....and does crunch amps put out clean power?
Sensitivity ratings on subwoofers mean nearly nothing. Most manufacturers don't publish enough information to describe how they came up with their sensitivity rating. However, it's usually measured at 1 kHz, which a sub is never going to play in a system set up by anyone with half a brain.
It will be in a ported enclosure...I own the subs....the pioneers play cleaner but the cvr seems like it goes a level higher in loudness...I haven't tested either on a db meter yet....
try to keep the same model of subs because you might get some cancellation and no crunch amps are dirty as hell if your looking for budget stuff, hifonics and audiopipe is a better choice than crunch.
