Sold 1st gen magnum motor and basket for sale

ok selling my claw basket mag. as you will see in the pictures the surround is torn and glued together with gorilla glue.

i tried to sand the motor down to try to shine up the motor...it looked retarded so i stopped. although they look like damage, its just surface scratches.

mechanically - 10/10 really. im selling it as a motor and basket so what the sub does mechanically in its current state, really isnt important lol. and i dont see how a motor doesnt ever function 10/10...

you can either go with a recone from SI or a recone from TC since this is a tc9 motor.

looking to get $65 plus shipping. sub actually functions just fine believe it or not, however i am not selling it as an "in working order" sub.

here is the motor. sorry about the doll head, my girl made me put it in the shot. you can see where the sanding bit made it shinier. the dull part is how the motor comes from the factory.

Bump for people looking to get a re-cone from TC and not us - be sure you tell Thilo what basket it has because the claw basket has different clearances than the standard 12-spoke.

pm teampsi or email FI it'll prob. be cheaper and quicker then TC, although I never had TC recone anything so I can't say anything bad about them....

just checked, its $125 for the new parts. new parts on the opld motor also supposedly make it a much superior driver compared to the 1st gen mag.

i have gotten quotes from $25-$35 depending on carrier (zip was like 77057 or something like that).

i keep telling myself im gonna hook my gf up with a system but she doenst care too much about them so i dont see a reason to recone and use it lol

like i was sayin the last time i talked to you, it will work for now, but i wont sell it as a "working" subwoofer. i am selling it as a motor and basket, and whatever time you get out of it before it needs to be reconed to be of any use is just a bonus.
