awesome work man.

the wheel tubs look awesome. is that just tac welded or a full bead on it? the interior sheet metal looks fantastic too. nice and smooth, and the sound deadening install is top notch. cant wait to see what the system looks like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

good stuff man. just do that good of a job when running wire and i will really appriciate it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks guys. All the rear sheetmetal work was done with tacks for the most part. Stitch welding where we needed some extra support. All of the sheetmetal over the 4-link is framed in with 1/4" angle iron.

The sound deadening is only halfway done. Once I get the new carpet for the interior I'll install a layer of SSA Heatwave to the floor then the back of the interior trim will be covered in SSA Rattle Pad.

This is when we were applying the gallon of SSA Sludge that was used on the roof.

Then it was covered in a layer of OverKill and the gaps between the roof and the roof rails were filled with silicone.

As always, things are going a little slower than expected. I drove the truck to it's first show with open headers. Talk about loud! After the show we got it back in the garage and sprayed a coat of black DP90 primer/sealer on it for the summer. Over the next week or so we'll be trying to take care of a bunch of electrical issues that have popped up. Kind of important stuff to take care of before I start doing the stereo stuff.

looks real nice. you don't have any plans to BD it? I personally think it would look 10x better just laying rocker. pinch even. it does look good though. I just think if you have a year and half of work into it, it should have been body dropped by now. It like it a low better black though, clean little ride ya got.

Eh, no plans for body dropping it now. I gotta have something to do later right? Honestly I don't need to be the lowest or the most powerful. Besides, I'm having enough trouble figuring out where I want to put air tanks and the exhaust. When it'd BD'd it becomes that much harder.
