1ohm loads

ok i got a directed 1100d which is 1100 watts at 1ohm 800 at 2ohm and 400 at 4ohm now is it good to run the amp at 1ohm for daily use i mean if i run it at 4ohm will still hit at 1100 watts

ok heres the thing i saying when i had my amp at 1ohm it got hot and went into protection now it wont come out now im saying is it bad to run it at 1ohm but another thing is when i had it at 1ohm i turned it up to like 5 and it was setting off alarms all the way down the block then i turned it all the way up to 17 then it played then cut off went into protection mode now if i had at 1ohm i cant turn it all the way up?

my subs are 15s and are 1500 watts each

i had the gain at first at about 90% when it went into protection i bumped it down to about 45 to 50% but woul it be worth it getting it fixed and

but big question if the amp is 1ohm stable why is it that it gets real hot and goes into protection mode when its wired at 1ohm

because you didnt follow the gain setting tutorial.. thats why.
