19ov.2 Box

Does anyone know a good 18 sub that would work well in a Elemental Designs 19ov.2 enclosure? Its 3.5cf tuned to 28 or 32hz cant remember. I got the sub + box from ed and the sub failed within a few days of use (had a sub sonic filter set) and i never got around to returning it for warranty before they went belly up. Im looking for sql I really hate to waste this box its decently built i just really dont know of any 18s that work well in that small of an enclosure besides the 19ov.2.

I could sand the surface down and make a 15 baffle for it but i dont know how much that would mess with the tuning.

Honestly your best bet would be to make a baffle and toss a 15" in there. That enclosure is pretty small for just about all 18's.

Ibl3 18... Might work I had one in a tiny box sounded alright
