1999 Jeep Xj Panel Sub!

looks nice bro

Thanks man:D I know its nothing to some but it's exactly what I needed. Ive always had something pretty loud but tired of losing the room. This little cheap single sub does very well though. It will actually move the side mirrors and the rear view mirror quite well:cool:

i've seen those pre-fab boxes. grandpa gets some catalog for jeep parts. those things look and sound like sh*t. this one is nice. i personally think you should try to get the rights. can anyone link to the last thread a patent got brought up?

my dad has one of those in his wrangler, im waitin for him to blow it so i can put some powa in there

I wouldnt know where to start on getting a patent. I would half to change some stuff on the box since it takes some sheet metal modding to get it to work right.
Patents aren't really worth it unless you're gonna be producing thousands of these things. Patents are easy to get past; I have teachers who have patented their products, only to find them on the shelves in stores. Start small and go from there.

Yeah I say heck with it. If someone wants one I would just make them one. Build them as I need them. I must say it made for a sweet install. Kinda looks like in came in the Jeep Stock:)

Looks good and clean for sure, what I always like to see in installs. Get the audio but without impacting the major utility of the vehicle.

Just throw a grill or something on the sub and get the amp under the back seat or hidden/protected somehow and you will be golden.

Yep clean just gives you a smile:D The build was done arond saving the back and it made for a great looking and surprisingly loud install. I mean its no SPL install but I am so surprised at the sound of it. It helps that it is bolted solid to the body behind there. Thanks btw. I will get that amp hid here soon.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
