woah this is very very confusing... you got a keyless entry and you got the normal HU hookup...

my friends HU got jacked, and me needs some help... they just ripped the hu outa the dash and i was looking into a wiring harness. i dunno how the heck all this crap works, i mean currently his keyless entry works so i dont think i need to worry about it. but when i look at the wire harness, the input on the stock HU is female and all of the wiring harnesses i found are also female.

wait... that is the harness you need, you need a female harness to use with your aftermarket deck... or are you trying to put back in the factory deck? If you need the harness that is used with the factory deck, it would be a metra 71-1720 (if you need one PM me, or if you need the other harness I have that too)

so that would plug into the stock HU rite, and when i put the aftermarket in, i just splice/crimp the corresponding wires from the Aftermarket to the stock?

edit: because i saw a green male plug, and i thought that was the keyless entry but is it actually the HU plug?
