Hopefully someone can help. I currently have the front 6x9 and rear 5 1/4.

I went to crutchfield and they show I can put 6.5 in the front, I would love to put components up there, but I also went to another site and they said just 6x9s....???//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ponder.gif.ec2527b23f1d287b60dcbba54f95edba.gif

Really....do you know where I can get the adapters online?? Im over the 6x9 and how low they are located. I would love to put the tweets up high. Do you think it would be difficult to do?

It's going to take some fabrication and creativity to mount tweets in, let's say, the a-pillars, but the results will be well worth the effort. Make the adapters yourself out of MDF. Anything you can buy will likely be made out of plastic, and that's not recommended for getting SQ.

Is this a regular cab, x-cab, or crew cab?

It is the extra cab. There is a perfect spot about 10 inches above the speaker next to the door handle to install a tweeter. I may just have to fab something up...got alot of time this weekend...hmmm.

i made my own adapter for the doors just use some wood its alot cheaper....i put 6.5 components up front with the tweets in the window pillars and for the rear i went with 5 1/4 components and cut a nice spot for the tweeter in the b pillars....
