Just bought all my components for an upgrade to the stock system which is non functional. First system ever build, learned a lot in the last 3 months reading here. Really appreciate the constructive and informed advice some of you have offered over the years that is now archived.
Wow, I was going to put a pic of the car on here, but cannot find one in all of my pictures. I know I had a bunch, so gunna have to snap new ones tomorrow.
Figured I would post it now and a start a build log this weekend when we start to run the cable and build the box.
Going to be building a box that gives some room for a second ID10 next month. Each sub will have approximately 0.6cuft. Doing a rear seat delete and placing the box between the front cabin and the rear strut brace. The space is somewhat trapezoidal so it will have a facia raised about 1" off the box with a border around 2-4" thick to disguise the parts where box doesn't exactly meet with edges of the pass through.
Still trying to work out if I need to isolate the rear from the front in any way, any suggestions? Probably just going to try it without isolation and then throw a few pillows or something in the space to see how it sounds.
