Hey! I have a 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser with the stock audio system and I need to upgrade it. My front door speakers are 6.5" and have 4" in depth, the dashboard has 2 speakers that face the carpet and they're 1 inch and I'm not sure how deep they go, but probably not far and they actually sound like midrange speakers when you'd think they'd be tweeters but I don't know. The rear doors have 4" speakers that I believe you can upgrade to 6.5" if you remove the stock grille, and they also have 4" in depth. The cargo area has 2 tweeters in the ceiling and a crappy excuse for a subwoofer in the side panel that sounds like a quiet midrange, so audio's the worst in the cargo area. I want a clean, loud, rich sound with strong bass that doesn't overpower the treble. Here's what I have with my own research done:
-Front Speakers-

-Rear Speakers-

-Amplifier-

-Subwoofer-
Earthquake Sound SWS-12X 12" Single 4 ohm Shallow Sub
And then I also have a carpeted enclsure picked out.
That's just upgrading the current speakers and sticking a subwoofer in there, and I need help picking out dash speakers. I of course can also cut holes in my doors to add tweeters, a midrange, and a woofer, but I'm not sure how I feel about modifying my door panel... I'm not a crazy bass head who needs 10,000 watts, but I'd like to have between 600 - 1500 watts or close. What do you guys think I should do? Oh also, I listen to all types of music. Mostly today's pop and dance music, and then some of today's alternative and rap, occasionally I listen to jazz and then there's those days where I just listen to 80s and 90s rock like Guns n Roses and 90s alternative like Third Eye Blind. Thanks in advance!
