i belive one of his subs is messed up

Yeah unfortunately I didn't check the subs until after I got them all the way installed. When I turned on the Z1A I noticed that one of the subs wasn't moving like it should have been. I took the sub out of the box and hooked it up to a DMM and got no reading on the coils. Then I was inspecting it, hoping that a tinsel lead came loose or something when I notcied that the voice coil had come unwound. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed but what can you do? I am sending it off to TeamPSI who is going to recone it for me.

In the meantime while the XXX's are out of commission, I hooked up the RE SE 10" in a sealed box I had laying around. Its being ran off the sub channel of the RF Power 1000 and is getting around 600rms at 2 ohms. It sounds really nice and gets fairly load off the 600 watts. It will do until I can get the XXX's back..

ouch man. atleast david SHOULD use stock parts so you have matching subs which was it? the one with the logo or without? now is your chance to get matching dustcaps

last I heard, he had a blown sub or something. this was one of the better builds you will see on here.

I have sent out the sub to another member to get reconed. I have decided to upgrade the sub stage in the Deville. I will no be running 4 2005 RE XXX 12" but they will all be dual 2 ohms so I can wire them all down to one ohm. I am going to be running them all sealed and each will see about 1.5 cubes after sub displacement. They will all be run off the Z1A so they will be seeing between 1250 to 1500 rms apiece. I am currently waiting for the other three XXX's I bought to get here and I am working on a box design for them. So right now I have the box that was built for the two 12"s for sale and the one RE XXX 12" D4 with the Logo on it for sale. PM me if you are interested in either one and I will cut you a sweet deal.

I have also got the panel for my rear deck almost completed. It will house the other set of RE XXX 6.5"s I have and a set of tweeters. I also built a holder for my rear view camera on the back. I still have to cut holes for the tweeters and put the vinyl on it. Since I couldn't find room to fit the RE SE 10", I slod the Power 1000 and the T3002 and picked up a US Amps MD-42 and hopefully I'll be getting another one of those or a MD-41 to run the tweeters off of. I will be having a major update coming very soon but I have a couple pictures for now.

How much did ya spend on all that deadener.

I got most of it straight from SecondSkinAudio.com. The Luxury Liner Pro I got from another forum member on here really cheap. I am still planning on adding more deadener to my trunk lid and at least two or three layers of Damplifier Pro to the roof. All together I guess I have spent around $400 or $500 on all the deadener that is currently installed in the car and plan on adding another $250 or so to get it all the way completed.

Yup I am working on it. I am going to get a custom faceplate made for it. It should look really nice when its done.
