its very safe if it had heat (took it out to run the 1/0) id feel safe driving it to cali no problems
it dont smoke. knock ,clank or rattle its rust free even in the rear fenders where all crx rust!
it gets 20-30 mpg or so proly due to the weight added to the car the woofers are almost as heavy as another person +5 batteries 4-6 rolls of wire 3 amps and a birch box with some serious strength
