Well, I've decided I'm tired of fart machines and want to concentrate on my truck. So...I am putting my 89 CRX up for sale now. However I will continue to compete with it through dB Drag and IASCA World Finals in support of my sponsors. The car will be at both finals with a For Sale sign on it. I won't sign the title over until dB Drag Finals is over. If you would like to pick up the car then in Tampa, feel free.
I'm not leaving the sport or either organization at all, I'll still be very active...I've just decided that trying to maintain 2 cars and keep them competitive is something I no longer wish to do.
The basics are it's an 89, 5 spd, DX model, 240k, new radiator, new tires, has A/C (although you need to replace a hose and have it charged. It blew cold as ice before my battery fell into the line), euro carbon fiber tail lights, black halo head lights and corner lenses. No rust, doesn't smoke, and doesn't leak oil.
I would prefer to sell this to a competitor so I don't have to part the SPL parts out. This is almost a complete package that's ready to make it's new owner nationally competitive in Street and Stock Pro class.
What I will inlcude in the price is:
**Group 31 battery up front
**16 runs of Kicker 0 gauge
**Custom copper front and rear distros
**Kenwood KDC-X790 4 volt deck
**Kenwood direct link changer
**car has 2 layers of second skin through out
**Powermaster XS Volt adjustable 170 amp alternator
**The enclosures I used to set the IASCA Stock Pro 1 WR at 155.5db (if I find a louder enclosure before Finals, it's yours too!)
**All the RCA's and wiring needed for Street B
**Python 460hp alarm with keyless entry
Not every CRX is the same, I have tested several enclosures from the loudest Street competitors cars and what I have works best for this car...so, all the new owner has to do is screw in two subs, wire up their amps and you have yourself a competitive car with less than a couple hours work. I'm not the loudest guy by far, but this car will hold it's own.
the 18's pictured aren't included...you get the stockers!
so for $3,500 you can start playing with the big boys!
