1989 Chevrolet Corisca

I have a 1989 Chevrolet Corsica and it has a 6x9 "command system" with a built in tuner and the heat controls. I am dying to remove it and put in a CD deck, can i do that? if so what is the cost im looking at (with a $100 deck) would i need new heat controls etc....

i would save up and get a better head unit. many say that your system is only as clean as your headunit. what im learning is that you have to be patient if you want a nice system. especially if u don't have alot of cash. sorry that i couldnt answer your question. trust me on this.

Your absolutely correct. Although i have seen many crappy HU's in SPL competitions.

No guys, I'm not looking for some grand system the car is a piece of shit and not worth investing anything in right now. I just need a CD player thats all. I was gonna pop an Aiwa CD player in there i just want to know if it will fit with that oversized junk in there now

Yeah it will fit but unless you can find a mounting kit for your car, that cd player will have to rigged up custom.
