For those that asked before (awhile back) about if anyone had tried the old-school JL 18w6 in anything other than sealed enclosures, thought I'd post a pic of what we are finishing building in an Astro with 9-18w6 in a 3:1 ratio 4th...sound GREAT, play STUPID low. Almost can't get the sealed side small enough for these things. Need to add more power (coming soon hopefully too) but figured you might like a teaser pic...

Soon....we are finishing up everything the next couple weeks. We are doing more of an old-school build with it, and want to show a finished product vs. bare wood...running (for now) off 3 U.S. Amps VLX-400s, but they aren't running low enough because of the box rise to get what they are capable of, so an upgrade will be in order soon...
