18 xxx or solo x

my friend has narrowed his sub choice down to either the 18xxx or the 18 solo x. he has 2 mtx 1501D amps so powers not an issue. he can fit up to a 12 cubic foot box in his trunk. I have a solo x and he likes the bass it has but he wants some more sq out of it. what should he do??

In the future i am thinking of going with 1 18, can the XXX hang with the solo x, for daily use. How about the new XXX thats suppose to have alittle more grunt.

I vote for two X 12's...with that pwoer, two X 12's will get crazy loud...and have better SQ.
