18" Preference

The thought has occured to me to buy a MA audio MA-5082Hx, which is 1x4000@ 1 ohm(mono) or 1x2000@.5 ohm(stereo). With the amp in mind, is the Sx18 a better sub, or RE's XXX.. Also, can the RE be broken down into .5, or 1 ohm. And if so, how many watts? Thanks'

The RE-XXX is a dual 2 and .7 ohm or quad 1.4 the wattage is 1600 watts RMS and 2500 max. But if you want to use all that 4000 watts you could look into the Adire Brahma which is also a dual 2 ohm woofer with a rating of 1600 watts RMS and 4800 max, but in my opinion its to much for daily driving.
