Box looks like a good plan man. What size MDF are you gonna use on that and what kind of saw do you use to cut the big pieces?
3/4" mdf for all the sides, but the face will have 4 layers. I have a nice craftsman table saw for all the cuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

^^^ Pretty much is, but I still like to have a back window and theres no point in walling it for a single 18" woofer.

Now, when I add another one, then I will wall it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Update-

Got 3 sets of RCA's ran, remote lead, all of the 1/0 is in and wired. Speaker wire ran, pods installed, 6.5's and tweets installed. Rear deck area cut out, front stage amp installed.

All I have left to do now is finish the enclosure design and start framing things together. Pics on the way

All the materials are waitin for the start of the build tommora //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Ive got two sheets of MDF to get goin, might need to pick up one more. I also need to pick up a few yards of vinly, some resin, and fibeglass cloth.

I think Im gonna go with the 12" Round Port. Going to cut it and glass it back together so it will fit to the angle of the box. I also picked up the angle iron to secure the top, bottom, and sides together when I construct it in the car. I think I will be fine with a run of screws on each piece, with the joint glued. And then I strip of glass in each of those corners.

Should have a good start tommorow and it should be playin with in a few more days I hope.

Oh and the components sound great how they are setup, but after I get a new pair of amps and a 9887 I will run everything active, locating the tweets onto the a-pillars, and glassing a new set of pods for the mids.

What do you guys think of this design compared to the original?

Thats very rough but its basically what I would be doing using the round port.

looks good, for some reason it reminds me of my setup in the mustang:D same shape "sorta" , same sub lol

are you building this inside the car or outside of it? not sure if you stated already.
