18" $99 ct sounds tropo $100 budget builders may like this

Haven't heard/seen anything bad about CT Sounds subs, but def their amps. Both companies could be google searched for more info. There's even a sticky in regards to CT on this site.
yeah 1 guy complained he pre ordered something and was like a month late or something.. even this 18 site says expected in 17 days ago but still on pre order lol.. i just thought it cheap for a 18., i'm sure they fine for low power set up..

CT pulled some shady stuff ? If so, I'm not fooling with them, that's for sure. Probably just do a Dayton instead. At least parts express is reputable.
Selling a bunch of amps that caught fire and stiffing their buildhouse for about 300,000$. Search around "CT sounds Paul Kim" if you want to do a little light reading.

Their subs are pretty low end Chinese junk. There are plenty of inexpensive Chinese made subs that are proven performers from companies without a track record of ripping anyone off or selling equipment that's a fire hazard.

May or may not be worth the money if he had the stuff in hand, but pre-order from someone with that track record seems a poor risk vs. reward gamble.

The formula is Square Root of your target Wattage Multiplied by Ohms. 50Wx4Ohms=200. Square root of 200 is 14.14. So 15v AC is your target.
