16v charge, 12v for the car, one alty, is it possible?

This is what I got from Erik at kinetik, I just want to find somebody that has actually tried the 3 posts:
so a hybrid up frotn and another 16v bat in the back for my amp (mojo) would work best according to erik?

All classes with 12V batts have car off. All classes with 16V have car on. In street and street max you can only have 12V, so you wouldn't be in Street C, BassAddictJ. You would be in SS NW 1-2

ANY battery in the car counts, unless its just sitting there not connected. You can use 16V alts in street, but no 16V batts. You have to burp at 14.4 or less I believe, also.

Cool, so your saying the people you know that run them have no charge level issues between the 6 cells making 12 and the other 2 that are added for the 16v within the same battery? That 3post setup makes it so easy to do 16v, if its solid I'm a happy camper //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It may just be me, but putting a 16V charging system on a car designed for 12V just doesn't make sense.

Everything will wear out quicker. Computer, lights, motors, anything electrical.

Maybe if I had a competition only car, but that's it.
