150db from 3 cubes???

is it even possible...i just recently built a max dimension box for my trunk and it turned out to be a 3 cube box with port displacment...so now my question is, is achieving the ever sought after score of 150db+ possible with only 3 cubes?

wow. that would be extremely hard. i dont know if that would be possible. ive never seen it done in only 3 cubes

it all depends on the install. everyone will tell you that. trunk car, suv, truck... these are factors along with the placement of the sub, what kind of power, and the box. There might be a ball park answer but your score will be totally different from most anyone else

yea its possible, buy my MT15 and stick it in that and feed about 5k+rms to it

145 sounds nice. i always thought 145 isnt that much but my friends boss (audio shop) just put together a clean 10 grand setting up his system, dont know everything in it but hes got 3 amps and 6 eclipse 12" and hes hitting around 145 and it was ****ing loud. my friend who works therre is hitting 139 with 2 L7 15"

u no its funny because i always wanted to mess around with an MT or a XXX....i alraedy have the big 3 done as well as anew high output batt...so my car is ready for the power...i just think taht 3 cubes wud be choking that sub to death...

its in a dual ported enclosure, but each chamber has its own port. not sure how many watts but it was run off of a single amp, not sure what kind either. it was loud. not very crisp.. he said, and i quote, hes going for sound pressure. he doesnt care what it sounds like.

i dont think 3 cubes is possibal to produce 150db.
